APTA MN SSIG - PT After Hours: Dr. Sam Weigel - Wound Care and the Journey from Orthopedics to Inpatient Wound Care To attend this free virtual event, please email ssig@mnapta.org for the meeting information. We are very excited to kick off this year's "PT After Hours" hosted by the APTA MN Student Special Interest Group! September's "PT After Hours" speaker is Dr. Sam Weigel. He will be giving a talk about wound care and his journey from going through an orthopedics residency after PT school to where he is now. PT After Hours Details:

Meet the Speaker:Sam graduated from the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Program in Physical Therapy in May of 2019. He completed an orthopedic residency at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI in 2019-2020 and obtained his OCS shortly after. He then worked in an outpatient orthopedic/sports setting from 2020 to 2023 and recently began working at Mayo Clinic at a position involving a combination of acute care (general medicine, orthopedics, and wound care) and outpatient care/short term rehab. |
